1. High-strength shatter resistance

After high-temperature quenching at temperatures exceeding 600°C, a uniform compressive stress layer forms within the glass (surface compressive stress ≥ 90 MPa, in compliance with GB/T 9963-2016). Its bending strength is 3-5 times that of ordinary annealed glass (≥ 150 MPa), while its impact resistance is 5-10 times that of standard glass.

Real-world applications: Even when subjected to drops or impacts (such as a phone cover falling from a height of 1.5 meters onto concrete), it remains resistant to cracking. In automotive settings, it withstands vibrations and minor collisions during operation, reducing the risk of shattering.
2. Safe fragmentation characteristics (shotgun effect)
- After crushing, it forms small particles with blunt edges and no sharp corners (particle size ≤4mm), preventing sharp fragments from causing cuts to the human body. It complies with safety certification requirements such as the EU CE and US ANSI Z97.1 standards.
- Core Advantage: Compared to ordinary glass, which shatters into sharp, elongated shards, screen-printed tempered glass significantly enhances safety in applications such as electronic devices, public facilities, and vehicles, thereby reducing the risk of injury in accidents.
3. Resistance to bending and fatigue
- After tempering, the glass maintains an elastic modulus of 70-75 GPa, offering excellent resistance to bending deformation. This enables adaptation to complex designs such as curved displays and arched automotive panels (with a minimum bending radius of 50mm, subject to glass thickness and material).
- During long-term use, it withstands stress impacts from temperature cycling and humidity changes, resists fatigue cracking, and extends service life by over 30% compared to ordinary glass.

Payment Details


1. Soda-lime Glass (Ordinary Flat Glass)
- Composition: Mainly composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂, approximately 70%), sodium oxide (Na₂O), and calcium oxide (CaO).
- Characteristics: Easy to produce, low cost, but poor thermal stability and brittle.
- Applications: The most common type of glass, used for doors, windows, bottles, jars, and everyday utensils.

2. Borosilicate Glass (Heat-Resistant Glass)
- Composition: Based on soda-lime glass, boron oxide (B₂O₃) is added.
- Characteristics: Low coefficient of thermal expansion, high temperature resistance, resistance to rapid temperature changes (not easily cracked by sudden heating and cooling), good chemical stability.
- Applications: Laboratory instruments (such as beakers and test tubes), heat-resistant tableware (such as baking pans and glass pots), high-end flashlight lenses, etc. Well-known brands include Pyrex.

3. Aluminosilicate Glass
- Composition: Contains a large amount of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and silicon dioxide (SiO₂).
- Characteristics: High hardness, scratch resistance, high mechanical strength, superior performance compared to borosilicate glass.
- Applications: Cover glass for high-end mobile phones/tablets, aviation glass, etc. Well-known brands include Corning Gorilla Glass.

4. Quartz Glass
- Composition: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) content is above 99%.
- Characteristics: Excellent heat resistance (softening point up to 1700℃), wide light transmission spectrum (from ultraviolet to infrared), high purity, and excellent chemical stability. However, it is expensive.
- Applications: Semiconductor industry, optical devices, observation windows in high-temperature furnaces, ultraviolet lamps, etc.
